The Buffalo Bills are continuing to look for their quarterback of the future.
During an interview on SiriusXM radio, Bills President and CEO Russ Brandon said he trusts general manager Buddy Nix when it comes to picking the team’s next leader.
“There are plenty of good young quarterbacks out there and Buddy (Nix) and his staff will do an excellent job of evaluating that position and all positions,” Brandon said. “One thing about Buddy is he goes for the best player available and doesn’t reach. He’s stayed true to that in everything he’s done.”
When asked about quarterback Ryan Nassib, Brandon said the team has expressed some interest in the Syracuse product.
“Ryan Nassib and about 300 other guys are on the radar,” he said. “The connection is there and you understand why.”
The Bills are also looking at other players besides quarterbacks. Brandon said the team’s scouts been busy attending a number of events.

The next layer is obviously the Combine and the evaluations on that front.”
