The Buffalo Bills may not be as interested in Syracuse University quarterback Ryan Nassib as some may think.
After former Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone took over the reins in Buffalo, many assumed Nassib would be a good fit for the Bills. That sentiment only grew stronger after Marrone added Syracuse’s offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett to his coaching staff.
But those connections might not be enough for Nassib to land in Buffalo, as rumors are circulating that the Bills aren’t too high on the senior quarterback.
"We’ve been told the Buffalo Bills are not as high on Ryan Nassib as most presume,” Tony Pauline of draftinsider.net recently told Buffalo sports radio station WGR550. “In fact we’ve heard their scouts don’t even rank him as the best quarterback in Mobile (at Senior Game)."
Still, those rumors aren’t stopping Nassib from believing he’d be the perfect fit for the Bills.
"That would be a great situation, I love the city of Buffalo," Nassib recently told media outlets about the possibility of the Bills selecting him in the draft. "I'm a Central New York guy, that type of weather, and going to Buffalo with all those Syracuse guys there, that would be a match made in heaven."
