NFL Playoff Matchups, Schedule are Set

The Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins won Sunday to secure the final two playoff spots.

Here is the schedule for next weekend's opening round of the playoffs.

AFC

  • First-round byes: Denver (No. 1 overall, 13-3), New England (No. 2 overall, 12-4)
  • Wild Card 1: No. 6 Cincinnati (10-6) at No. 3 Houston (12-4), 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, NBC
  • Wild Card 2: No. 5 Indianapolis (11-5) at No. 4 Baltimore (10-6), 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, CBS

NFC

  • First-round byes: Atlanta (No. 1 overall, 13-3), San Francisco (No. 2 overall, 11-4-1)
  • Wild Card 1: No. 6 Minnesota (10-6) at No. 3 Green Bay (11-5), 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, NBC
  • Wild Card 2: No. 5 Seattle (11-5) at No. 4 Washington, 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, FOX
