Buffalo Bills Won’t Send Anyone to Pro Bowl

In a shocking revelation, the NFL announced the Pro Bowl rosters for the AFC and NFC and there were no representatives of the Buffalo Bills.

All sarcasm aside, there may actually be a few Bills that deserve the trip to Hawaii despite Buffalo's atrocious season.

As far as Buffalo snubs are concerned, the most obvious is CJ Spiller, who has been electric all season for the Bills despite limited carries. One could make the case that Spiller deserves a spot over Kansas City's Jamaal Charles, but those voting for the positions apparently disagree.

Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com also suggests that Kyle Williams, Andy Levitre and Jairus Byrd have all been snubbed. It's not difficult to see why these guys have been left off the list, given the names that made it ahead of them, but as Rosenthal points out, the majority of the guys that made it ahead of this group did so because of their name and reputation instead of their play this season.

It's easy for fans to throw their arms up and claim that the NFL has it out for Buffalo. But the fact is, this is a bad, bad football team and having a handful of guys play a glorified touch-football game in Hawaii won't do anything to heal the wounds that the Bills left on their fans this year. If the team wants to send players to the Pro Bowl, they should focus on winning games.
