The Buffalo Bills have placed starting tight end Scott Chandler on injured reserve, leaving him out for the last game of the season.
Chandler, who has produced in the passing game as a big target in the middle of the field, is suffering from an undisclosed, but serious knee injury.
“Scott doesn’t look good at all,” said head coach Chan Gailey. “It’s a knee.”
Chandler set new personal bests in catches (43), receiving yards (571) and tied his best of six touchdowns.
Chandler will be replaced by Lee Smith, who has seen his own productivity rise in the last couple of weeks.
