The Buffalo Bills will play their home game in Toronto this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks in what many fans now consider a throwaway game.
After losing last week to the St. Louis Rams, the Bills are 5-8 and going up against a tough opponent, all the while they will be on neutral ground, more or less.
Buffalo's attempt to expand into the Toronto fan base doesn't seem to be working very well. The game hasn't sold out in Toronto, leaving many seats to be covered with a tarp, and the fans that do show up always seem to be rooting for Buffalo's opposition.
The good news for Bills fans, the game is late enough in the season to where, given Buffalo's record, it's pretty much meaningless. Face it, if Buffalo were to win out, they would need miraculous help to even get into the playoffs. And even if that were to happen, could the Bills be expected to put up much of a fight on the road against, say, Denver? The truth is, fans have given up on the season and it doesn't matter where the rest of the games are played because Buffalo fans simply don't want to show up to watch them lose anymore.
